Purses/Pocketbooks/

I started another thread about my shoes. I am sitting here thinking now about pocketbooks. How many do you have. I just counted and discovered 14.

1 Fossil
1 Coach
1 Vera Bradley

The rest are J. C. Penny, Belk, etc.

How many do you have and is it enough. My good friend has forty some. I am not trying to catch her.

I have about 6 purses. I really only use one of them though.

I have 3 handbags I ahve only just stopped carrying a baby changing bag round with me, haven't had a handbag since I was 17 as I ahd my daughter at 18. I have got my everyday one, a bigger one for if I need to put more stuff in it and a going out one. I love bags though (I sell them on ebay ) x

I have a bunch of old ones, but I only use one.

I have about five or six, but I only really use two of them. I switch back and forth between a black and blue Coach and a white Elle (that I bought at Kohls). I also have a brown Fossil and a blue one from Land's End. There's another one or two around here somewhere.

Coach - currently using (probably a knock off since it was a gift from the family I used to nanny for)

Again, going against the mainstream - if it doesn't fit in my pockets, I don't really need it; I have one purse that is just a large pocketbook with a carry strap.

Same here. Mine get so much stuffed in them that it's too much trouble switching bags.

I love purses. I will give an estimate:

1 canvas/fabric tote
3 Kathy Van Zeeland (I adore her purses!!! http://www.kathyvanzeeland.com/)
3 black purses from Bentleys
1 lime green from Bentleys
1 bronze patten cross shoulder purse
1 black leather/suede
4 hand bags with clasps and chain handles
2 evening sequin bags
1 semi circular black evening bag
1 lime green Lug bag
1 red leather purse
1 navy leather purse
1 purple brief case style purse

There might be more. I do know that I gave away a number of purses earlier in the year including several original (not knock offs) Guess bags.

I don't have a purse. I have a backpack. I need to carry around too much stuff regularly, so I use it for every day and for work (the laptop slips in).

Sadly, after 8 years, the zipper broke. Fortunately I found a Hello Kitty bag that's big enough with inside pockets I have to have. It was $4.00, and I LOVE it! But my shoulder is starting to hurt again. I weighed it when we were last at the Doc's - it's 10 pounds. So I have to drop the backpack off at a tailor and get the zip replaced. I can't do that kind of sewing myself - not something that's going to hold up long term.

I have a knock off Dolce and Gabana pink leather purse and a red plaid Longeburger...And I dont use either, the D&G is sitting in the back seat of the Explorer but only so I dont forget my license when I drive.

I have about 20 poclketbooks, including some evening bags. I have summer and winter purses including a used beautiful Isabel Fiore bag. I have a breast cancer bag from an SF Giants game that a guy gave me at one of the store stands. Don't have breast cancer. I Think he just was trying to pick me up.

all in all including rucksacks night/dressy bags i have roughly 25

I have a beautiful Louis Vuitton one

2 Fossil. I will not buy another unless one goes. I like to keep it at only 2.
I tend to carry stuff in my pockets or use a small backpack instead.

You're not the only one. I have a wallet and that's it. If it won't fit in my pockets or clip to me I'll lose it. Example: Last week I walked out of the house without my glasses on.

I would have to count them because like my shoes i've got so many I bought another bag and a silver evening bag when i was in Italy and Barcelona recently, so theres another 2 to the collection

That's how I am too. When I need that ridiculous purse, I loop the long strap around my neck so I don't leave it behind somewhere, and my phone is in a case with a neck strap. I have, however, NEVER left the house without my glasses - couldn't find the danged door without them.

I may not know the number of shoes I possess, but I do know how many hangbags: 16. Reason? Last year, I asked DH to build a hangbag hanger for my closet. It's just a strip of painted wood, with very large cup hooks in it, running vertically. You then attach it to the wall. It only had enough space for 16 hooks, so I must limit my collection to 16 bags! I'm really not into them, anyway. I now buy most of mine cheaply at Goodwill.

I do have a large Crown Royal bag I carry on rare occasions

Probably 25-30 Vera Bradley bags (totes, purses, wristlets)

oh my I've never counted....I'd say maybe 15-20? I like Dooney & Bourke a lot!
