My surgery is done and it went really well. My doctor found a few pretty bad endo lesions, but no adhesions which is good. I didn't end up needing the adhesion barrier after all.
I was in a lot of pain after surgery and ended up with 5 or so doses of IV pain meds in the post op room, and then two pain pills in recovery before I went home. I felt like an idiot b/c I started crying in post op when I asked if my husband could come see me and they said not until recovery.

Surgery was at 11:30, and I got home at around 4:00. I'm doing good, no problems at home so far, it's just really painful to get in and out of the seated position. Hubby is helping me with that.
The pain pills I have for home are stronger than the ones I had in the hospital, so they are helping really well and I'm sleeping well b/c of them. I think things are going much better this time than the last time I had this surgery. I think it's b/c I have had so many good vibes from everyone.
Thanks everyone, I appreciate all the good thoughts!

Thanks everyone! I'm doing MUCH better today. I can get in and out of bed and chairs by myself, and I'm really not in much pain (though I'm taking my pain pills every 4 hours regularly, so not sure how true that is). I started getting the pain in my shoulder from the gas they blew my stomach up with, but it's more of an annoyance than a pain, really. It also hurts to breathe and I'm getting a tiny rattle on my right side that concerns me.
It hurts REALLY bad to cough, and when I do cough through the pain I cough junk up, so I hope I'm not getting a chest infection. The two incisions in my pubic area (well, one is more up on my hip) look great and dried up nice, but the one in my belly button is still open and oozing. They didn't stitch it up as well as the other two.

I've been sleeping pretty much since I got home, minus time up to take my meds and get something to eat and drink every four hours. My pain pills make me pretty tired.

Nora is SO worried about me. She sits in my lap and whines at me. lol It's really cute. She's taking such good care of me.

I'm so glad all went well!
I guess it's good news/bad news on the pain - sorry there was any, but glad it's better than last time, the meds are working, and you're getting lots of rest, which will help heal you up quick! all continues to go well!
