I have 4 pairs of flip-flops: one for the river/pool, three are dressy.
I have two pairs of boots: dress/pant boots and motorcycle boots.
I have three pairs of sneakers: One everyday pair, one nice pair and one pair of z-coils work sneaks.
I have one pair of skechers slip on flats dress shoes and one pair of dress sandals.

And I guess I'll be buying a pair of white or gray Keds slip ons and dressing them up to wear as bridal shoes.

lets see I own at least 4 pairs of old navy flip flops, 2 pairs of dress flip flops, 2 sandals, 2 cowboy boots, and probably 15 pairs of wedges and heels, and at least 6 pairs of tennis shoes. And I just downsized. I love shoes, and I wear all of mine, and In the winter I pack away my flop flops and sandals, and it the summer I pack away all the boots.

I have a few different pairs of shoes, but I only wear a couple of them on a regular basis, depending on what season it is. When it is winter/snowy, then I have a couple shoes that I rotate between, but any other time I rotate between a pair of black flip flops (worn about 98% of the time and are so worn in and squishy...I think I need new ones next year and it's gonna suck lol) and a pair of Keen sandals. I have a pair of Keen sneakers that I LOVE and would wear more all year, but they squeak with ever step I take and it's annoy. I wish I knew how to stop it.

I'm a pretty simple person, though, as is shown in my wardrobe. Almost all of the time I'm wearing a colored men's fruit of the loom tshirt or a solid tank top and knit shorts or some type of soft pants (sweats or running). It's what I feel comfortable in, I've never been comfortable in dressier clothes.

I have a couple pairs of sneaks, 1 pair of flats for emergencies (like funerals), and a pair of slippers.

But, if you ask how much fabric I have, well that is another story!

I probably have about 40 - 45 pairs of shoes, boots, sandals, clogs, etc.

I love heels and have several pairs of boots with heels for the colder weather. I love clogs, too.

Several pairs of walking shoes and sneakers.

Sandals with heels. I wear pumps with heels in different heights for work. I do not own a pair of slippers.

I have four pair of hiking boots, all the same, to be used in rotation. I have three pair of sneakers, (cross trainers I guess they are called) same concept.

I have one pair of leather clog type shoes (but they have backs, so they are not clogs) for if I have to dress up, like go to a funeral or something. I have one pair of blinding white Keds canvas sneakers to wear with summer dresses.

When I worked in education, in addition to the above, I had three pair of suede ankle boots (all the same, different colors) to wear with my dresses and skirts.

I have to wear prescription orthotic insoles in all of them.

Many years ago, I was a shoeaholic. I once counted my stash. I had 22 pairs of black shoes...can't remember what I had for the others!

I've since stopped. I do, however, "hoard" shoes to some extent. I'm a size 4.5/5, and it's hard to find my size nowadays; 6 is usually the smallest I can find. I sometimes make do with 6's, but some styles are dangerous for me to walk in, as my feet slide out due to the shoes being too big. Ankle boots, can take a 6 in, for example. Anyway, if I find 5's in a style I like, I will buy them in different colors, and buy a couple of pairs of neutral colors, like black, tan and brown, which I wear most of the time. I then put most the pairs away for when the current pair wears out.

I used to wear 3" heels nearly every day, but switched to less spiky, lower heels after getting sciatica. I love mules/open-backed shoes!

I buy a lot of shoes on Ebay (new, not used--yuck!). I seem to have a lot of luck there with finding 5's. The prices usually are quite good, even with the somewhat pricey shipping (shoes are heavy, so they cost more to ship).

My problem is knee boots. I don't have fat calves, but large, solid, muscular ones, which must have a muscle mass in a weird part of my calf, because the boot shaft, even in wide-shaft boots, usually doesn't fit, unless they're pull-on boots. I've seen women with far larger, flabby calves than me, wearing knee boots! It's alaways been a problem, even after I lost a ton of weight many years ago, and my legs are much thinner.

I LOVE red shoes, but always think of my Mom saying, "Red shoes, no drawers!"! (She's British, and told me they used to say this when they saw a woman wearing red shoes! I would like to state here that, in my case, this is NOT true!)

I have three pairs of tennis shoes... two for working outside and one for going out to the store or whatever. And a pair of sandals that I almost never wear

Can't imagine not owning slippers. What do you wear inside the house?

I only have 8 or nine.

This includes sneakers for exercise and 'indoor shoes' for my schools -Japan. I wear a EEE width either women's 10 or 11, I really don't need the length as all my shoes are too long. Men's 9 1/2 fits me best. So shoes are really expensive and I HATE SHOE SHOPPING!

They don't even make wides except in things that run narrow, like women's dress pumps, which I don't have and can't find to fit.

I have a very hard time finding shoes and only have about 12 pairs and most of these are more then 5 yrs old! I more/less live in sandels or sneakers as its hard for me to find shoes that fit and are comfortable. I take a small size and my feet are narrow too (in the heel).

I'm not paying hundreds of dollars on a pair of shoes.
