Hi everyone, ok, I have done nosey threads in the past and I am doing it again. I want to see everyones homes, house, flat, apartment, whatever it is, I would love to see it, here is mine

My street-

The front of my house-

My front garden which will eventually be a driveway with a small circle of grass, a path and the rest will be white gravel (eventually being the main word
)

The view out of my back door and my back garden, bit of a dull day today

My kitchen which needs decorating and we're havin a new kitchen next year

My living room which will be decorated soon, we have done the window and we want to get rid of the red and have black and white theme

Had to share my lovely black stairs and landing which is black, fine with smartie who is pictured but not with Harvey who is white! Takes me an hour a day to hoover.

This is the view from my bedroom window which is at the front of the house

Hope you enjoyed please post yours.xx

Look at all that space!
And what a lovely view!

We've been back in the RV for a little over two years now. Sun's low, but I ran out to take a few pics. I have some inside ones already uploaded to photobucket, so I'll post those too.

Here's where we are now:

And so you've got perspective, here's one from when we first hit the road those many years ago - but that's us in front.

Surrounding area:

Front window - curtains closed inside. The front dash is COVERED in cat beds.
That's Spooky on the left, and Flowerbelle is curled up in the far right (not sure you can see her):

Inside...

When you walk in the front door, this is to the right (passenger side):

Standing inside, looking front. The big litter box is where a TV used to be. The others are nestled between the driver's chair and the dash, and the passenger chair and the dash.

This is the set up on the passenger side for Ming Loy, so it's easy for her to get up to the front dash - though her favorite spot to sleep is on the sheepskin on the passenger chair.

The driver's side (you can see the tube on the back of the couch that leads up to the front dash) :

We did take the cover off the couch. We wanted it to make things brighter, because the couch is brown - but the hassle with cat hair was just too much! Easier to just use throw blankets on the couch and wash them.

Bedroom:

Kitchen:

We took out the stuff that came with the RV for the dining area (across from the kitchen, on the passenger side). We replaced it with a bookshelf under the window that has window seats on the top shelf for the cats, and the cat trees.

Window seats. That's Chumley - asleep on a smaller cat tree that fits between the shelves and the wall:

The RV has lots of overhead cabinets. We took most of the stuff out of the ones in the dining area, and leave the ends open - so the cats can go from one cat tree, up into the cabinet, and come out the other side. Lazlo LOVES sleeping in there, so we had to put a cat bed in there.

The couch had a big pull out drawer under it. We removed that, so now the cats have that space as well. And the bed lifts up - more storage space. Well - not any more. We cut holes in each side of the bed and put lots of cat beds under there. It's all kitty space now:

Kinda hard to get pictures, but...

Thanks!
I gotta say... black carpeting must be a nightmare to keep clean! But works with the b&w theme you want to have.

When we lived in a house, we went with black & gold (and tan lol).

We were on the road for 10 years, then moved into a house we rented. That was in 2004. We lived there for 3 1/2 years. The contractor that owned it decided to sell it (after assuring us he wouldn't).
It was really cute:

I live in an historic Victorian, which I would love to show you, but I don't have a digital camera. Ruthy, this is a great thread and I love your house. I feel homesick for England - everything is so green!

Our house when it snowed in Feb this past year. This was the day after the snow. The house really needs shutters
I've been saying that for nearly 2 years! (The builders had us pick shutters, then when all was said and done, told us that shutters didn't come with the house but we could buy some and they'd put it on for a small fee
) I always think the house looks smaller than it is also in most pictures
The roof and saddle roof didn't quite come out like expected either - apparently the code enforced roof pitch is higher than the other houses around here nowadays. (Buuuuut its nice having my own house and not living with my in-laws so I'll stop complaining
) Working on getting some bushes to put up in front of the house also, so bland. There are two azalea bushes planted on either side of the porch now

You wouldn't want to see my house right now! We've been home-improving since the last week of September, and it's so cluttered and dusty. I mean, doesn't EVERYONE have a table-saw in their living room???? And a pile of 16-ft-long crown moulding? I've been tripping over that stupid thing since Labor Day!

It's pretty sad when you've been doing so much home-improving that you acutally look foreword to being able to clean again...

Maybe I'll take pics of the outside--as far as I know, we have NO power tools in front of the house!

We want to get an RV once our son grows up and is out of the house, and we want to travel all over the country.
Your house seems great!

I am currently living in my moms basement.
We get our house on October 31 so I can post some pictures after I move in.

I love how LDG and Arlyn have made great use of their space. Looks so cozy for pets and humans. Home Sweet Home!! I LOVE going somewhere in our RV with the boys. I really like being in that environment...making the most of the space you have. It's fun! I wouldn't mind living in our RV, just don't know what we would do with all the crap DH seems to think we NEED!

Nuh uh...might give me away!
I'm gonna have to go out front and take a good picture of our house. I only have up-close pictures, but the house is so large that I need to step back and get a full shot.

We HATE moving...with a passion. So when we picked out our house, we chose the most house for our money. Well worth it.
