KatieMae, which Life on Mars did you watch - the U.K. original version or the American one? The American one was a huge disappointment. I figured Gretchen Mol, Harvey Keitel and Michael Imperioli from the Sopranos, it had to be good. But I didn't believe in any of the characters and that ruins a show for me.

I cried too when 6Ft Under ended. I always cry when my HBO shows end!

Adriana, I just streamed the first show of Sister Wives. I loved it, but they are not streaming the rest and we have only basic cable. So will have to wait on that one until maybe Amazon streams it. It's a good show.

My fave Housewives is Orange County too. Seems like forever since it has aired.

Where's Otto? Probably watching television! I wanted to tell her that The Dick Van Dyke show is on Netflix too. She's got me started now with these old shows. The quality of The DVD show is terrific in streaming.

The only Real Housewives I watched was Orange County, none of the others caught my eye as much.
I watch
Greys Anatomy
Law and Order SVU
Teen Mom/16 & Pregnant
Simpsons
30 Rock
How I Met Your Mother
Big Bang Theory
True Blood

We also watch reruns of Friends & King of Queens.
We only have basic cable + premium channels. My husband works for a local cable company so we would get free cable if we lived within their broadcast areas, but we live in an outlying area so we get a smaller partner company and they only provide basic cable in our area. We can't DVR anything, so anything that is new and we don't see, we just hope to catch re-runs.
We miss most of the shows on the night they actually come on. We are in bed between 830 and 9pm Sunday-Thurs. due to our wakeup time of 415am.

Glee, true blood, mad men, big love, sometimes Dancing with the Stars- that's about it. I don't watch a lot of shows.
Primula, I loved in treatment's first season but I was disappointed in the second season.
I missed Laura.

I've seen "I didn't know I was pregnant" too, a friend of mine used to obsess over that show, she was sure she's pregnant after watching it

Hmmm, season 2 on DVD will be coming out this month. Laura was my total fave too, but I loved Mia Wasikowski's role too (forgotten her character's name). Gosh, I hope I won't be disappointed - they took forever to get season 2 on DVD.

Thanks!

I'll have to add Dick Van Dyke to my queue. Every time I mention MTM to my mother she says "I liked her first show better". I say Mom, MTM didn't have any other show. She says "yes she did, the one with Dick Van Dyke in it" And I say Mom, that was not the Mary Tyler Moore show, that was the Dick Van Dyke show, and she was a supporting actress in that show."

I think she says it just to bug me,

I wish they had more than two seasons of The Partridge family.

I used to watch the Dick Van Dyke show when it was on Nick at Nite; for me, that was a great show and I enjoyed watching it. I watched Patty Duke, too. And Donna Reed. And the black & white Bewitched.

Actually I used to watch Nick quite a bit when the older shows were on. Then they went through a stage where all you could watch was Cosby and Roseanne....nothing against those shows, but after awhile, they got boring.

Korey has to be at work at 5am, and I usually have daycare kids coming around 630 so I just get up when he does to try and clean before anyone gets here. And, I have a lot of trouble sleeping so if I sleep later in the morning, I wouldn't be able to fall asleep when he goes to bed, and we like to try and go to bed at the same time.

it was the American version, and I loved it- maybe cause I never saw the UK version

Jason O'Mara is a super hottie, maybe that's why I liked it
