My name is Penny and I just joined the forum a couple of days ago. I had found this search a while ago while researching hand raising kittens. The help I found here was invaluable in saving the kittens when the mother got sick, when the kittens were only 4 days old. A link ( I hope it works) to the album of the kittens is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sunstruck/sets/72157623112189265/with/4483593337/ the photos are not in a particular order, and there are 43 photos. ENJOY! As a side note, we have gotten to be great friends with the kittens' owners. They still bring them in for a visit, and when I can, I bring my puppy down to their house to play. The Seal point, Mouse and my puppy, Poohbear are best friends and spend hours wrestling together.
I currently ( with my husband) have 13 cats and 1- 4 month old kitten. Their ages range from 4 months to 15 years old. I lost my beloved calico Miss Pooh Bear this past January at almost 19 yrs. old. I missed her so much I named my new puppy after her: Poohbear.
All our cats are rescues, with out going into huge detail on each one, 2 were shot, 2 were rescued from a car garage, 3 the Ragdolls, were thrown out in the snow- the mom was pregnant at the time, 4 ( a separate mom) was thrown out a car window and we rescued her and her 3 surviving kittens. 2 were found on the highway, and the last one we found with her sister ( at the rainbow bridge now) at a tender age of a week or two throw in my horse's stall.
The Ragdolls and my new kitten, Marley are serious camera hams. They love posing for the camera.

I have a ton of more photos, but I want to see if these will come through first.
Hubby and I also have 5 dogs, which makes for a happy household. To be honest though, we do not have 14 cats in one house, 6 of them live at work, 6 live at home, and 2 commute daily with the dogs.
Thanks for letting me join, and I look foward to making lots of new kitty friends.
Penny
