A first for Herman and Pirate

I've never seen them lounge together. Pirate, my one eyed wonder has been with me since 1997, and Herman is the newest family member, joining us in 2008. Pirate is sometimes an agitator, and he'll walk up to Herman, sit down and stare at him. Herman sits opposite Pirate and they meow at each other. I can tell it's not a friendly meow, yet there is no hissing or fighting. Herman is very old, and he doesn't play rambunctiously with anyone/any cat, let alone Pirate.

I was so surprised to see them on my desk chair together. Pirate was snoozing until I woke him with my picture taking. Herman was just lounging.

Aw, just when you think things will never change! Two sweet boys may have decided on a truce!!
