Our Grandson will be a year old next month. I was thinking of getting him a Wonder Horse, a smaller version. But that might still be too old for him. His Mommies buy him all kinds of things, so he doesn't want for toys. I'm at a position in my life where I can buy him things that I couldn't afford for my own children. I want to get him something that he will have a lot of fun with...at his age. Any ideas??

I would get him the Wonder Horse. My kids had them and they rode those things until around the age of six. Of course, not the small ones at that age.

A book to read to him. The Runaway Bunny? Harold and the Purple Crayon? The HungryCaterpller?
Not the Runaway Bunny. Goodnight Moon.

I tell you, those spring horses are awesome. My daughter used the one I bought for my son when he was little. Both got more use out of that than anything else I got them when they were little.

It was always so cute to see them rocking back and forth on that horse singing at the top of their lungs.

That is so cool!

We have decided to go with the Little Tykes Crazy Coupe. His Mommies told me that it's what he wants.

When my daughter was little, I was pretty poor. I would save and save before her Birthday or Christmas to get her one good toy. 9 times out of 10, my Mom would find out what I planned to get and buy it before I could. I finally had to quit telling her, or tell her something else that I wanted N to have, hee hee! I never want to do that to the girls, I remember resenting it soo much.
