Jasper, some sort of Persian cross. Got the last of the mats off him today. Heavy white undercoat. Declawed, and a real character.

Sara Lee. An Ella-look-alike who is built for comfort, not for speed. She just got out of the treatment room. She is amazingly playful!


A new cat, just out of isolation. She is timid, but she loves attention.

Beautiful as always! I like to look at your threads but at the same time they break my heart to see such wonderful kitties in the shelter!

Not on the second two. I could find out, probably, if I could find out who checked them in.

Jasper's original owner got cancer and had to surrender him. He was adopted and kept for almost a year (I remember when he was here before), then returned when the adoter's grandchild developed an allergy to him.

I dunno...maybe I'm out of line here, but I think an allergy is a poor reason to give up on a family member, especially after a year.

Jasper is STUNNING! So sorry to hear about his owner's situation. Sara Lee reminds me of my Hannah, also not built for speed. Maybe the new kitty will come out of her shell soon and be less timid. She's beautiful as well.
