Hey guys, just wanted to request some vibes for a new cat that's shown up in my colony. Saw him/her when I went to feed at lunch today - solid gray, very, very skinny, fur almost looks greasy, has discharge from eyes and nose and was obviously congested. The cat came close enough to sniff my hand and let me touch its head, then darted away. Waited a while, but it didn't come back. Have alerted the neighbors to keep an eye out and will go back tomorrow morning to try trapping. The poor thing looked absolutely pathetic. Please send vibes I can get a hold of him/her. Thanks!

No sign of him/her this morning. Had to call it quits to get to work. Neighbors are still keeping an eye out and I'll keeping trying. I'd prefer not to have to trap the poor thing, but suspect he/she is going to be too skittish to get into a carrier. I'll have more time this weekend to actually spend at the site, so please keep the vibes coming that this cat is okay and that I can get a hold of him/her. It's so frustrating to live across town and not have more flexibilty to keep an eye on things in my colony. The neighbors do okay about alerting me to new cats, but aren't the most reliable folks. Thanks!

Thanks, guys. Once again, TCS vibes to the rescue. Got the kitty! Had to stop back at work for a bit, then heading to my vet at 2, just for initial check and meds if needed. Quicker than taking to the vet the rescue normally uses. The poor thing looks and sounds horrible. Please keep the vibes coming. I'm hoping we don't have to make a difficult decision regarding the cat. More late.

Thanks, guys. Unfortunately, the kitty, who was an unaltered male, had to be euthanized. The poor guy was in terrible shape and very scared, but began to purr when my vet started examining him. She discovered a massive tumor on his bladder, so large she could barely distinguish his other organs. My vet felt there was little hope for him, even if he'd been otherwise healthy. We named him Roscoe and I stayed with him while he was PTS, told him that he was good boy and that I loved him. He deserved to hear that. I wish there was more I could have done for this sweet boy. At least he's at peace now.

I was afraid of this. You gave him peace and ended his suffering and that is a wonderful gift for Roscoe. RIP beautiful kitty

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping him!!!
