I have a flat tire. This is the only time I miss the ex. He either took me off AAA or let the coverage expire (think the former). One of the boyfriends is coming tonight to help me pump it up.

That's crappy. Flat tires are no fun. No fun at all!

I've had AAA since I got my license when I was 16. I won't ever be without it- I've had to have them unlock my car door many a time
, and change quite a few tires, and recently get a new battery.

So get yourself back on AAA!

I may get AAA or something if I ever become single again for whatever reason, but as of now I have a hubby that can change a flat tire for me, and we have a friend that works for a lock company and can come unlock my car doors for me whenever we need him to (and yes, we've had to call him before...b/c my HUSBAND locked the keys in the car HAHA!).

It's happened to me not at home too many times.. including locking my keys in the car a few years ago at a gas station in rural Virginia along I-81 driving from Pennsylvania to Tennessee in the middle of the night.
So, for me, I need AAA, for peace of mind, if nothing else. Hehe, I also keep a car key all over the place, on my keychain obviously, in a kitchen drawer, at work, BF has one... But those would not have helped in TN.

It's also nice to get free maps from them too.

Boo at flat tires! One of mine went flat once because it stripped all the way around the rim and rubbed halfway off by the time I got to the shoulder of the interstate. Another time our dually's tire went flat, hubby went to change it, and discovered the previous owner removed the jack and lug wrench
We had to call AAA for that. We kept AAA til we got the Mustang. Ford provides 5 yrs roadside assistance, so maybe in 5 years we'll go back to AAA. They'd been quite helpful (like when hubby's brother hit a curb in MD at 5am on the way from ME to SC, and blew the tire
)

I had a flat tire recently and none of the men who should have helped did
My dad said do it yourself it's so easy ( I was at school and he didn't feel like coming all the way down to help)..
My then boyfriend said the same thing..
I managed it but it was scary..

If your auto insurance has a roadside assistance program, that's often covered. You might want to check with your auto insurance to see if you've got that on your coverage.
