Runtaroo

My little Runtaroo passed yesterday at around noon. We took her back to the vet that morning and he was pretty sure that it was FIP and she only had about 24 hours left and he said the last 12 would be really bad so we took her home for everyone to say goodbye. When she started to cough and whimper from pain we took her back to the vet and stayed with her while the vet gave her the injections. It was a really hard decision to make but we could not let her be in pain.

Runtaroo came into our lives as a 3 week old abandoned kitten along with her brothers. We bottle fed all 4 of them and little Runt would just never grow very much and we decided to keep her here with us.

She loved to sit in your lap, be carried around with her front legs thrown over your shoulder so she could see everything that was going on. She didn't let her small size bother her and she loved to play chase the ball and wrestle with the other cats. She also loved to be in the bathroom when you were getting ready and would jump on your back and slap your hair when you were drying it.

She is still loved very much and will be missed greatly.

Britt0285, I am so sorry for the loss of little baby Runtaroo, how sad she passed at such a young age, FIP is horrible..You gave her much love and care in her time of need, bottle feeding her and taking her under your wing.. she sounded like such a spunky gal in spite of her small size

Rest in Peace little young Runtaroo, your time on earth here was too short, but you had love from your humans here, wait for them at the Rainbow Bridge! they loved you so

Oh, the dear baby....if I ever am rich I am going to pour money into FIP research. It causes such heartbreak.

She knew nothing but love and that is what we all want.

God Bless Runtaroo and her family who love her.

Condolences on losing your sweet little girl. What a treasure she was - and spunky to boot. You gave a peaceful passing - one of the best gifts of all, try to think of Runtaroo playing happily over RB with the other RB kitties and lots of little people angels cuddling them & giving lots of scritches.
