Ever had it?
We were in Gatlinburg for the weekend and found a moonshine bar that had tastings. They had 3 kinds, White Lightening, Corn Whiskey, and Apple Pie, as well as cherries soaked in white lightening. The white lightening wasnt bad, neither were the cherries, the corn whiskey was horrdi! LOL! I could burp and taste it for like an hour! But the Apple Pie
that was SOOOO good! So now tonight I am going in search of some! It was Sunday so we couldnt purchase a bottle of it at the distillery, but they sell it at most liquor stores from what I have heard!

If you ever see a bottle labeled Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery, I HIGHLY recommend the apple pie!!

so far none of the liquor stores have the apple pie! There is a huge demand one clerk said though! So hopefully soon!

Yeah the regular moonshine not so good! LOL!
Also this is the first legal Moonshine Distillery in TN. Pretty cool!

We had some for the 4th of July at a friend's house. It was so smooth as long as it was cold. It was like drinking kerosene if it got warm.

My sister got a pint of I think corn liquor as a gift and brought it to us. Man it burned just getting the stuff on your lips! I remember back in college one guy always got some moonshine-wicked nasty stuff!!

Moonshine back in the day was rather illegal alcohol produced during Prohibition in America in the 1920's give or take a year or two lol no clue what it is now though

My MIL brought some back from Tennessee....the home made kind. It was very smooth going down, then exploded once it hit the stomach. WHEE!!!!
BTW, she has some pretty good stories from the days when she ran moonshine for her dad, way back when. Some pretty wild days!
