How many sing---

OK--how many of you do what I've caught myself doing on many an occassion? Singing to your little ones?!?

This evening I was using the tune of "Waltzing Matilda"---don't ask why--and came up with Waltzing Sweetpea. then I did one using the tune of Leroy Brown to come up with Leroy Spring----

So, admit it----who sings to their little ones?

"Margie, the Margie Cat"

"Gemma Jemmakowski, the Diamond Girl" I'm such a prolific song-writer!

Can't claim to have written the following song, though:

"Yellow Rose of Texas" ("..and sing of Rosa Lee" (I sing this to Rosalie)

DH also sings to them, but I can't remember the songs. I know I also sing other nonsense songs to the cats.

I don't sing to my cats but I've written some lyrics to songs about them.

I sing "WALTZING MATILDA" to Matilda.

I do I can turn just about any known tune into the Can Can Tunie song It's drives them nuts thinking they are Can Can aka Canned Catfood

ummmmm everyday. Both cat have AT LEAST 5 theme songs.....and sometimes I combine them for examples....the cartoon Pinky and the Brain....morphs easily into Its Tilly and the Moo...Tilly and the moo....

I can fit their names into pretty much any song...and I do it and now is like a unconcious thing....like I will be singing this song and my friends are like woah did you just insert your cats names?!

one time at a wedding to make my sister laugh I turned Justin Timberlakes' Song Sexy back into Sexy Cat and sang about moo. She found it very very funny.

oh yes, I'm always singing to my kitties! I actually have a problem where I seem to come up with a song for about situation but for the kitties, the 2 I can think of right now are "Fatman" to Atlas in the tune of "Soulman" and "Beautiful Girl" to Pandy, "she's a beautiful girl, she's a beautiful girl" it's a real song, don't know who sings it tho oh, and "Witchy Woman" by the Eagles to Electra except witchy starts with a B in my song

i not only sing to them - they each have their OWN theme song!
of course, i also sing to my students...altho they don't have theme songs!

My kitties have a theme song too! I sing "The Love Cats" by The Cure to them all the time.

That is another song that I sing to the both of them --- mind, I change lyrics around sometimes --- ----depending on the ---ern---situation

Yeah, I've been singing "Suppertime" by Irving Berlin to Larry ever since I got him. His ears perk up, if he's somewhere else in the apartment he comes running. When he hears it, he knows it's suppertime! It's part of our routine!

I'm always singing to them. All sorts of stuff!

Mandarin for some strange reason REALLY likes Katy perry. He'll start talking to him self and zooming around the house!

Majel likes "unchained melody" and "we are going to be friends" and other slower songs... and she'll sing with me.

Linus loved the Beatles.

And Shebrie, well I sing to her, "She's 13, she's beautiful and she's mine..."

I sometimes sing this made up song to Aberdeen. Aberdeen just flows off the tongue and I love saying it.

I am odd.

I just sing in general

Or to the tune of Hey Jude: Hey Dude, you're getting round, you're a fat cat and getting bigger, remember to walk away from the treat, if you don't eat so much you will get smaller..

I don't sing to my cats either. But I do talk to them like they were an actual person! LOL

Of course I sing to them! They each have their own song, and I sing those songs to them all the time, and they love their songs.

I sing to "my girls" too! And they do have theme songs.

For instance How much is that M(can't use names here) in the window?
The one with the pony tail?
How much is that M in the window,
I do hope that M's for sale!

Or: My L(cant use names) has a first name it's L------
My L has a second name its -----
I love to see her every day and if you ask me why I'll say
Because I l-o-v-e L------.

I also use She'll be coming around the mountain (and looking for L-----y when she comes)

And working on the railroad:
