Well...I didn't last long

My daughter and the cats insisted I open the package

We were very spoiled this year, lots of goodies for me (and baby to be) and lots for the fur crew. Molly has claimed just about every toy for herself

Dear Secret Santa,

Yesterday I received a notice from the post office. There is a package I need to get but needs to be checked by customs. Since I hardly get parcels, I believe this one is from you.

Will pick it up next week and I will take photos at the post office. I am soooo excited.

So, I've had a crazy 24 hours. Fire alarms, a power outage, which led to my primary computer... oh, never mind. That's for another thread. Anyway... after the dust settled on the craziness, I got a call from the management office of my building. A package has arrived. I had a feeling it was my turn. So I wrapped a scarf around my neck and headed down there (I have to go outside to get into the office, which is in my building... never mind).

After explaining TCS and the secret santa we do to the new manager, I came back up and starting diving in. I'm a dark sider. I don't care. After the way things have been lately, I've been feeling rather Grinchy... although I still give until I have no more to give. I put the pics up on Facebook... but just tested it and it won't let non-FB folk see it... so the link below will be to a sub page on one of my websites. (if not all of them show, the computer is still uploading the %$^%&$^& things... wait a bit and refresh the page) I'm just wary (and ticked off) of my computer right now with what's happening.

My SS was Rianna! Thank you, hun! I was trying really hard not to tear up at the box with Jack's pictures...

Oh, and the TimTams are nearly halfway gone... I need to eat dinner first!!

You're so welcome! I was hoping that it would all get to you in one piece. I was especially worried about the photo box making it all the way across the country. I really hoped you and your kitties liked everything. Merry Christmas.

I think the Llama escaped... the poor shipping box was a little mangled in the corner (opposite from the photo box), but other than that, everything came through fine. I certainly needed that after the day I've had... and yes, the TimTams are halfway inhaled.

I did empty the stockings for the girls... They'll play with them eventually... they're not kittens... but I did take some pics of those... so I'll get those up later... JoJo was a little spooked by the noisy stocking... she's like that...

What a clever llama!

I was actually trying to find a little llama to fit in the box, but couldn't. However, now any time I log into Amazon.com it suggests llamas for me. lol

I'm glad the chocolate came in handy!

I was musing a few days ago on Facebook if there was a cleansing diet (as my body is trying to detox a bunch of lung crud from years of working in a fabric store) that consisted solely of chocolate and water.

I could so do that. I have a couple of friends on there who're willing to do it with me... don't know if it would cleanse the body (although it wouldn't work on the lung crud), but it would a blissful few days of cleansing diet...

In Switzerland, you can get those Lindt chocolate bars that cost $2-3 each in the states for about 50 cents. I ate a lot of chocolate while I was over there.

Not to worry. Thufir got his presents. I opened them Tuesday and Wednesday night. I took a lot of pictures and thanked my SS via PM, but I just haven't had the time to post the pictures yet. I planning to do it over the weekend.

WooHoo! I received 2 SS packages today!!!!!


Archie was immediately interested in the packages



He seemed to indicate that I should open the smaller of the two packages



So I did!



The card said that there is a "lightsider package" and a "darksider package". So I opened the gifts that were in the "lightsider package" and I left the other box alone (for now!)



It turns out that my SS is the most wonderful person in the world and is feeding my addiction to baked goods with Finnish Coffee Bread and a wonderful, tasty type of fudge! I am leaving the other package alone for now...

What a good idea - feeding our temptation but leaving something for Christmas! I must remember that for next year. It looks great so far.
