Walkways and the like...

ive seen quite a few interesting walkways and tunnels people have made... has anyone here constructing something elaborate for their babies themselves?

we are currently living in a 1 bed rm apartment.. on the second (top) floor... we have a finished attic above us with pull down stairs... and i want to get our cats up their without having to have the stairs pulled down all the time...

i have a few ideas in my head as to how... and kinda a where.... but need some other thoughts...

Adding permanent stairs eventually would be one idea.

How tall is the ceiling ? You may be able to use cat trees + shelves and cut a hole through the floor/ceiling. You'd need to make sure that there's a decent sized platform or a ramp leading to/down from that hole in case you have speedy cats.
