This is truly a sad story. This young man evidently thought death was the only way out of his dilema. I have tolerance for the gay life style. I have gay friends and love them and would help them in any way I could. I am so sorry this young man's life is over. People are out of control everywhere in what they choose to post on these social networks. This was indeed a case of poor choice and harassment. Whoever posted will have to live with the choice for the rest of their life. No, they didn't murder the student. Did they contribute to his choice. I am sure opinions will differ.

Any type of bullying is absolutely repulsive. But this is not just about bullying and they are not the only ones to blame here. Obviously this young man probably feared acceptance in society. Whether he thought it would affect his job, his grades, or his family.

The real crime here is intolerance.

This is such a sad, sad story.

The internet, and technology is great, but as in all things good - somehow people find ways to abuse it.

This event shows that kids' brains just haven't developed enough to think through their actions. Funny, it's now the kids that seem to be more technical - it's just that they aren't mature enough to harness their knowledge.

I'm guessing they should be put on suicide watch, too.
