To explain,
I have recently taken to feeding and trying to tame a stray cat, and I assumed she is pregnant because her nipples are big and pink and her tummy is a bit round even though the rest of her isn't. She looked like how my cat did early in her pregnancy. I don't know, however, if this cat really is--or was-- pregnant since her nipples could be like that from a previous birth, and she isn't especially fat.
Well, 2 days ago she visited my home, I noticed she'd dripped a few drops of blood, and I saw it was coming from her rear-end. I also noticed the fur on her back legs was matted, though it wasn't bloody. I checked her nipples, but they showed no sign of having been suckled-on. She hasn't visited since.
Did she give birth or have a miscarriage? How can I tell? Is there anything I should do if she comes back?

She was eating, drinking, and walking fine, though. She didn't like me to touch her anywhere except for around her ears and shoulders, but she's always been like that.

The way to do it scientific is to let a vet examine her, I suppose. Im not sure iif it is an option for you, if it isnt dramatic. I know most rescuers arent made of money. And some dont even have a vet nearby.
Does she continue to bleed? - if yes, it is an asap vet errand.

If not, and it seems ok now... read on.

My guess it was an miscarriage. With my home cat I would visit my vet if I had a queen. But surviving, semiferal homeless are made of tough wood...
Per definition, otherwise they wouldnt be there with us... Most dumped dont make it.

So vet visit is to recommend, but if REALLY necessary - you must decide.

Tx for caring and helping!

Good luck!
