Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
Since Im the first one up with the alarm. Max, he gets up as soon as the alarm goes off and gets in my face to tell me he has to go out. Franklin and BF dont get out of bed till 15-20 minutes after the alarm goes off..hehe...I just leave the bedroom light blaring in their eyes so they get out of bed. Once I let Max out on his leash I cruise into the kitchen and say hello to Hercules and GiGi since their new residence is on my kitchen counters or the back of the couch.

We kind of have a down pat morning routine..Except on the weekends we get to sleep in till 630 and then it starts all over again.

Um, Mollipop. Honest. DH awakens when the alarm rings at 5:00. They all go to the kitchen for breakfast. Then when DH comes back to dress for work, Molli comes roaring back the hallway, storms into the bedroom, leaps on the bed, and jumps right on me, just purring away.

"Mom! Hey, Mom! Morning, Mom!" And that little motor of hers is running loud and strong.

I never say good morning unless working and it's a scripted response. There's simply nothing good about mornings in the first place.

Most mornings I don't say a word..it's mainly grunts or something like that until I've had a coffee!

Every now and then I say 'Morning' to the parents...and if my other half is here with me I say it to him first.

usually it's a cat- I live alone so there's no human
it depends on who is next to me when I wake up, or if there's no one there, it's always Atlas who comes running into the bathroom first

I'm NOT a morning person, but every morning I am thankful that I did wake up. To me, waking up on the right side of the ground is a good thing

Maybe I should have posed the question as " to whom do you give morning greetings to first?" or perhaps " whom do you greet first when you wake up". Didn't realise it would be taken so literally LOL. Will remember that and make sure my questions are pointed instead of a multitude of meanings, tho tis amusing sometimes and since half the times I write em, I am tired so I will prolly forget.

I say gmorning, to hubby if he wakes at the same time, if not, usually DD is up first during the week. I text a friend a morning greeting...... But a lot of times its everyone else saying gmorning to me, rather than me saying it.

I do tend to take stuff literally, I can't really help it.

But still, as far as greetings go, they don't happen in this house.
DH gets up really early for work, leaves the bedroom light on and I drag myself out of bed a few minutes later. I'll ask him a few minutes later what he wants for breakfast, which he always says "I don't know" or takes 10 minutes to figure out.
Neither one of us are very talkative in the mornings. (by the time he leaves for work we're more awake and I always tell him the routine stuff) Cats are usually in the den at that point.
He goes to work and I usually get 2 more hours of sleep - waking up again later I'll be covered in most of the cats and usually the first thing I say is telling them to move so I can get up.

Usually my son when I get up to take him to school. Otherwise (like on the weekends) it is whoever I see first, but usually Nora.
She is quick to greet me when I come out of the bedroom.

I say hello to my fiance first of course.
Since we are on a night schedule it is rarely good morning but still...

Hello to him first, then cuddles for the kitty who by then has most likely crawled up to investigate.
