Hello! I adopted a very lovable one year old male (neutered). He uses the litter box with no problems, scratches on his post, and is a pleasure to be around. Recently, I noticed when he is "kneading" on his soft blanket, he lowers his stomach and hindquarters and begins rubbing his male parts. 
It seems he gets aroused and relaxed at the same time. I have never seen this before...all of my previous male cats have also been neutered and have never done this!!! What is going on?!?!?!

Not familiar with this behavior. We have several that knead quite a bit, and two while lying down, one of them male. They nuzzle their noses into the blanket or sheepskin or whatever.
He would get the fabric in his mouth, knead it, and lower his hindquarters like you mention. She had to be very careful with the washing!
