6 years ago today, Osiris and Cleopatra II were born, on my bed while I pet their Mom, Nefertiti, the entire time. 
Nefertiti was a pregnant stray who showed up on my back doorstep. She was quite sick, but I nursed her back to health and quickly fell in love. She gave birth to 3 gorgeous babies, Osiris, Cleopatra II (named after a beautiful girl I had who died exactly 1 month before this little one was born) along with their brother Horus, who looked like the male version of Cleo II. I fell madly in love with ALL of them and decided they were all here to stay. I spent a fortune having them all spayed/neutered, etc, but they were worth it. Horus was very much my exhusband's cat, and never wanted much of anything to do with me. When we split, I agreed he could take Horus as long as he updated me on how he was doing. Of course he never did, and I found out through others that Horus died 2 years ago from urinary crystals.
I feel so guilty to this day that I didn't insist on keeping him with me.
My beautiful, precious, Nefertiti has also passed, a little over 3 years ago now. It was a very, very sudden illness. One day she was fine and literally, the next day she was gone and my heart was broken.
She lives on in her babies though. Osiris' personality is very much like his Mom's.

Osiris was first and was a little love bug from day 1.
Horus was next.
Then came my baby girl, precious Cleopatra II.

I can't believe it's been 6 whole years! Where has the time gone?
