This is just horrendous!

I just popped on my local newspapers website to read the police blotter and the second article headline on the page is Alleged Cat Shooter headed to county court so I had to click and see what it was about.

This disgusting thing shot a cat with a cross bow. What in the world is wrong with him....supposidly he says that the cat was hissing and pawing at him but the owner found him right at his door....There is something wrong with that guy and I hope he gets what he deserves. Thankfully thought the kitty, Oscar survived being shot.

Ugh some people its just disgusting the way they treat animals. I hope someone nails him with a cross bow then he can know how it feels.

This guy is disgusting and so obviously a stupid, lying, selfish, heartless redneck. You don't shoot animals with a bow unless you are hunting, totally premeditated. He should be shot with an arrow in his leg or arm....

Its just disgusting and it makes me sick because I used to live in that town. Im hoping that they get a hard ball judge because there are a few in that town and in the county courthouse who will come down hard on that lunatic. Im going to keep following the updates on this case to see what happens.

Ugh to shoot a any animal with a cross bow is definately crazy and so inhumane its just...ugh I cant even say how I really feel about it cuz Ill get in trouble. I really hope someone nails that guy with a cross bow he deserves it!!!!! Im glad that Oscar survived though atleast there was one piece of good news out of that article.

Sadly, it's too, too common for hunters (wow, those big, macho guys with their hi-tech bows who "think" they are real warriors, like the hunters of old ) to shoot cats with arrows. A quik search in today's YahooNews will show about 1/2 a dozen different cases. and that's not counting the cats shot with pellet guns
Someday, those creeps will be dying, and before they cross, those kitties whom they've wrongfully, shamefully killed will be there to haunt them. It's been my experience that anyone who is mean to cats is equally mean to disabled people, esp. the developmentally disabled....so wrong, so very, very wrong
