It's going to be mild today with some chance of rain.

I am off to work in a bit, and then staying late to catch up. After that a haircut! Just a trim and need my bangs fixed.

Its a crappy rainy day here, not got much planned got work this afternoon for a fe hours

he didnt get in till 2m after picking his parents up from the airport bless him he is so tired as he had to be up at 6am for work

Its raining ICKY! I have some minor running around to do today, paying on my fines, paying Snap-On guy, and hopefully finding the Goodwill or Salvation Army so I can get the 5 giant bags of clothes out of my spare room. I cleaned out mine and BFs closets this summer and we couldnt fit the bags in the cavalier so now that we have the Explorer I can get them all in and not make a couple trips. Now all I gotta do is find out where I can drop the bags off....I really would prefer to donate them rather than the norm which is tossing the bags in the burn barrel and burning them, I only did that with the clothes that were so beat up the burn barrel didnt even want them haha!

Not much going on around here....I took a sick day today as I've a roaring headache and a bit of a tummy thing going on. Figured it was best to stay home.

It's raining and is to be just grey and dismal. It's a good day to go back to bed and snuggle with some kitties.

We had a great weekend! Saturday we drove the Fredericton for the SPCA Pet Expo which I loved.

We brought home lots of toys/treats for the babies, so they were super happy. Then yesterday, my blind foster, Ray Charles, was adopted and she MIGHT take another foster, Leo, as well! Here's hoping!

Last night Dana and I went to the movies to see Devil. I really liked it, but I'm a fan of most M. Night Shamalan movies. Dana, not so much.

No real plans for today. We'll be heading to the gym after work and then we'll be watching the season premier of Dexter! Can't wait!

Good morning

Woke up to thunder and lightning, which just made me want to stay in bed even longer. Left the house at 6:40 and got stuck in all sorts of traffic. There were at least 3 wrecks inbound on the interstate. Traffic moved well til the normal spot, but I got off at that exit to take an alternate route (seeing as how traffic completely stopped after that exit, 2-3 wrecks down that way!) Took me an hour and 20 minutes to go ~25mi, aghhhh. People here cant drive to begin with, add rain and it's a disaster

Just planning on working and getting out of here. Might go look/buy a treadmill this afternoon, though dont know when we'd bring it home since 1. dont have the truck; 2. its supposed to rain today and tomorrow (and this place has them assembled already). I need to get my cardio in though so I'm excited to get one!

Think we're gonna have marinated chicken for dinner with corn and flaky biscuits

Morning All!!

On my second big cup of coffee as didn't get much sleep after 2 am. Our power was partially out in our hour so we contacted the power company and they came about 2:30 and confirmed we were getting about half the voltage into the house. A company did some repair work to the underground line a couple of weeks ago and evidently did swomething wrong. Power was restored about 7 am. Brief showers this morning! Dropped my sis at the airport and I'm at Barnes and Noble off too work in a bit.
Test driving a new car and hopefully the dealer can find one with the options we want.

Good afternoon.. A hot one here today, 107!! Summer made an appearance this weekend!

Over 100 degrees is a bit too hot for me even, so I haven't done too much today except 2 loads of laundry, and I need to do some accounting homework. I would like to go to the beach, but I don't even want to get in my car. It's probably 500 degrees in there!

BF stayed home today and actually just woke up around 12:45PM!! He says he is sick but I think he just has a bad case of the Mondays to be honest. But maybe he is sick, since he slept so much... I hope he feels better soon anyway. You too Pam! Stomach problems are no good!

Nothing much else is happening here, I have class tonight, that's all. I would've liked to do some errands but with the heat I'm going to put it off til tomorrow I think.

Well, my good day didn't turn out to be so good after all.. I'm going to whine here a bit about a sad thing, so do not read this message any further if you feel easily emotional or something...

I don't want to make a topic about this but I just feel I need to write this down to handle it, or to actually understand what has happened.
A friend of mine was found dead today (make that yesterday, it's almost 6am and tuesday here already, can't sleep). She didn't show up on work and didn't answer her phone, so her friend went to check on her. She didn't answer the door bell, so her friend looked in from the mail slot and saw her.. she had commited a suicide.
We weren't super close, but hang out almost every weekend as we have lots of mutual friends, last time I saw her was Saturday a week ago. I didn't know it was the last time I'd see her.. The friend who found her isn't a friend of mine, but I've met her several times. I can't even imagine what she is going through right now. I feel so weird, I just can't believe this.
