Fall has officially arrived, this is my favorite season. My question is:

What do like most about the Fall.

I love the cooler weather and the scenery when all the leaves turn yellow and orange. Everything just seems cleaner and smells fresher.

Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
My list of dislikes is longer than likes but I love watching all the colors change its GORGEOUS! Pennsylvania autumn is just the greatest everywhere you go its just like walking in a painting its so pretty. Even just looking out my kitchen window is pretty and we get deer up in that wooded area so in the mornings its fun to just stand in the warm house and 'spot' deer...Ohh and that first time starting the wood stove..Ahh I love the smell of wood burning...Now if only it wasnt cold and wet in the mornings haha!

Because it means Summer is over! I HATE summer. I'm in South Texas and it's just way too hot. Well it's still hot in Fall too but it just means Winter is just around the corner.
It's a toss up between Fall and Winter as my favorite season.

I seem to have a love/hate relationship with fall!! I always go through some sort of emotional crisis every single fall, making me hate it, but at the same time I love the weather, the pretty fall colors and Halloween is my favorite holiday ..

What DON'T I Like about Fall????

It's my favorite season. I love the snap in the air, pumpkins, leaves, the first night we need to turn the heater on, cider, fall festivals, Halloween (my fave holiday), pumpkin pie, football.

I think I love Fall partially due to my Dad. Let's just say that he wasn't a very nice person, but he loved Fall so much, he became a bit easier to deal with then. The few happy childhood memories I have seem to be Fall-related. He also tolerated Halloween (code for, "He didn't start a holiday fight"). He made Christmas miserable for all of us, but he liked Halloween and Thanksgiving.

HAPPY AUTUMN, EVERYONE~!!!!

Yes!!! They need a candle for this smell, burning and crisp, and I would burn that candle smell all year long. That smell is divine.
I hate the cold. I am a very cold natured person and only like summer temps.
But that smell is the best thing about fall - that and Halloween.

In South Carolina? Not much. Trees barely change color. One minute they're green, next they're dead. The weather has still been in the upper 80s and low 90s during the day.

Fall is my favorite season, but here it's not as enjoyable. The only plus is that it's one step closer to winter and not sweating my butt off every day!

When I lived in NJ it was always the crisp mornings, wood/leaves burning, and the beautiful leaves.

The trees are really starting to turn some lovely colours now and I always love when they do. I like how busy all the birds and squirrels are too. I miss the warm nights of summer though.

Pretty much what most people have said. I'm not a fan of summer. Fall means crisp air, sweatshirts, sleeping with the blanket, no air conditioning, I'll stop sweating the minute I walk out the door.

Baking bread, not sweating while I'm working in the kitchen, baking muffins, cookies. I love fall, because it brings on my favorite season....winter!

...and I thank God for that, this was a very hot long summer and I'm glad it's over.

Do you have relatives here in NJ, you should try visiting them while Autumn is here, it is so beautiful here this season as you know.

I love autumn!!!
The leaves changing, weather under 100 degrees , honey crisp apples, pumpkins, decorations, halloween, designing fall wreaths, baking/cooking yummy recipes for this time of year, chrysanthumums (going to get a bunch this week for my balcony!), pumpkin spice lattes, apple cider, candles that smell like pumpkin and apple cinnamon....what's not to love?!?!

Today it's been soo nice outside. I sat on my patio for several hours with the dogs just reading and enjoying the cooler weather. I definitely love this time of year!
