Hello Everyone,

I need some input on something. There is someone who wants me to take 2 beautiful seal point himmies. They have been raised together (brother and sister), are older and in need of a home badly. You already know I've been looking for a new cat anyway. But what I'm wondering about is-- since the two himmies were raised together would Peaches be maybe singled out. One of the biggest reasons for another cat is to give Peaches company while I'm at work. Anybody have any thoughts on this? I just want to make the right decission.

I'm sure they'll accept Peaches as a friend, and be grateful to have a good home. I say go for it, as well.

The more the merrier! At least you know they are used to being around other cats. I know the 6 siblings I have here (Lil's kittens) play together but also play with the other cats as well. Best of luck and keep us posted!

I don't think so. Moe and Neo love the new cats and the new cats love them. Normally they will cuddle up with one of the kittens instead of each other
I think they will all be friends!

Just wondering why they want to get rid of the two kitties and how old are they. Many persians/himmies that are older have PKD. Make sure they have been tested for this with a sonogram. If they are positive you will be in for years of medical bills and worry as the cysts grow in the kidneys and cause them to shut down.

If there is nothing wrong with the kitties I say Go For IT! Peaches will love to have 2 playmates.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Our kitties all took a while to warm up to new additions... but once a few months had passed, we find them grooming each other, sleeping together in various pairs.... we didn't add two at once, and at first Peaches may feel a little left out. Just be sure to give her lots of attention, use these tips I'd Like You to Meet...Introducing Cats and I'm sure Peaches will be glad to have two new friends!

The himmies are 10 or 12 years old (can't remember which) and I think Liz told me their mommy died. I'll ask again. She's going to call me today. They have been tested and are in good health.

All the feedback sound pretty positive in favor. And they are beautiful kitties...

Here is a picture of the two himmies. Liz said this isn't a very good picture and they are even more beautiful then this picture. Oh that's the other thing. They are both males I guess (I just saw that on the website and had forgotten). Of course they're neutered.
(Opps... at first I said spayed. Guess I'm used to having girls around!)

How exciting! They are such beauties! As for them all getting along, I'm sure they'll all become best bud's!
When I got Tiki, Bud & Echo (bro & sis) accepted her with open arm or should I say paws?
I wasn't sure if they'd get along with her or even react with her at all since they've alway been together. Now, Echo & Tiki (my himmie) are bathing buddies and Bud doesn't really care. He's pretty laid back and just deals with her running around the house. She can be a wild little girl at times!

I'd say Go For it Honey! Keep us all posted on what happens! And Good luck!

I'm going there this coming weekend to see all the kitties Liz has and will probably come home with any number of them.
