I put my shoes in the closet, so I don't get any types of gifts in my shoes. DH on the other hand doesn't put his shoes in the closet. He's not gotten any gifts that I know of, but the cats like to roll all over his shoes.
That's very cute. Glad there were no unwanted surprises.
