I shop at Safeway and get my groceries delivered.
If you pay $6.50 for regular delivery, there is no guaranteed time. Anywhere from 1 hour and sometimes even the next day from my experience! So I usually pay an additional $5.00 and have 1 hour delivery, and even then sometimes it ends up not arriving the same day.
Today I paid for 1 hour delivery. There was a taxi outside the store and it's a 5 minute drive to my home. I walked in the door and sat down to rest my achy body and answered a PM. Then the doorbell rang. Yep! My groceries. I had been home less than 5 minutes and my groceries arrived!
That was less than 15 minutes this time! I gave the guy a $3.00 tip!
