I can't wait to find out who my victim (ahem...I mean secret santa

) is. I've not purchased anything yet, but I have a plan in mind. And, I can't wait to set that plan in motion. Let's suffice it to say that this is going to be fun -- for me and also for my secret santa. Well, at least I hope so.

I'm going to be checking my e-mail compulsively for the next 24 hours. Boy, I hope Katie is quick with matching everyone up and then e-mailing us all to let us know who our secret santa is. I don't think I can bear to wait much longer! This is my first year participating and I am beyond excited.

Is there a secret santa rule book? How much can we torment our secret santas? I know being sneaky is part of the fun, but will we know who the snoopers are? Will there be help for us newbies along the way? I think I've got it covered, but I just want to make sure. I'm OCD like that

I've been staring at my phone (BlackBerry, I get my emails on it) for awhile

Every time the red "alert" light comes on, I get excited thinking it's my SS name!!

None yet ...

Hubby got stuck shopping with me last time for the SS gifts

He'll be "lucky" this time when I start shopping because he's got a cold and won't get stuck shopping with me tomorrow!

But he may just get stuck coming along later on
