...and then he was cloned! And returned! All in one day...

I was driving home from work past this house that almost always has some stage of kitten. Utterly, depressing, I know. But, I was going super slow and watching them. There were around 6 of them, two black, two black and white, and two gray and white. I was starting at one of the black and white ones, and realized he (or she) has Lennon's exact pattern! White, with a black mark over one ear and on his tail! It was all I could do not to go and kidnap him.....

OMG you freaked me out! My heart totally leapt out of my chest! I am SO GLAD this was a "cloning" and not a real act of theft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK - I can laugh now. With relief.... because the situation is really sad. Are there any low cost spay/neuter places near you? Think it's worth finding one if possible, and talking to these people about it?

Yeaaah I might have done that on purpose. Mean me!

LDG: They aren't people I have ever talked to. And sadly, here, that is a common way to treat animals. Everyone thinks I am insane for taking my animals to the vet when sick, and for getting them spayed/neutered. All I can do is pout from a distance. If I lived alone...there would probably be kittennapping. Pat would kill me though.

On a more positive note, my kitties got their beastie bands today! Lennon has blue with guitars, Ringo has piano keys, and Lucy has teal paisley. Perfect for each of em! Except I wanted Lucy to have diamonds

Nuh uh...might give me away!
Phew! I was one of those that thought that too! lol

There's a stray roaming around my parent's neighborhood that looks identical to Oscar. When my parents were watching the boys for us, there were a few times they searched the house for him thinking he had snuck out. lol

Man, it's too early in the am for a scare like that!!!
It seems we all have "lovely" neighbors who let their cats breed at will.

There is a house down the road with a free kitten sign out every spring and sometimes more. Makes me so mad!!!

Glad Lennon is ok. Love the black and white kitties!!

Don't scare me like that! I'm happy that Lennon wasn't stolen. If it had been me, not only would I have gone back and gotten the lookalike but the other kittens too. LOL.

I wish I could! I would be all over that. Every single cat. But then we would all be homeless together! lmao
