The Beau's sister and a very close friend of mine is extremely stressed out! Its her last semester of school, and its upsetting her! So I want to send her a gift basket as a surprise gift.

So I am trying to think of what would be great to get when you are stressed out
Her favorite colors are Orange and Zebra print
And shes a bit of a dork and loves to craft, but doesnt have time for it.
She loves University of KY
And Pirates

Any suggestions would be awesome!
So far all I have is an orange basket and an eye mask! LOL!

I made a "Mood in a Basket" one year for my family and my friends for Christmas. Here is what I put into each one. It was for couples, so I put 2 of each, so you could do it with just 1 item of each:

2 fluffy white bathrobes
2 fluffy white bath sheets
1 bottle of wine
2 crystal wine glasses
1 chocolate initial for each of their names
1 box of chocolate sea shells
floating candles
1 bottle of fragrant bath saltz (home made). I put it into a decorative crystal red wine decanter.
1 music CD (I picked soft romantic piano music)

I put it all into a giant wicker basket that had roped handles and wrapped it in cello-wrap and tied it with raffia.

Hiding from my SS!
You could print a picture of the big bottle of rum, and fold it up in an envelope with the $ for the big bottle of rum, and mail that to her?

Scented candles might be nice to help her relax. Johnson's (yes like the baby lotion people) have a new lotion out that is lavender and chamomile called "Melt Away Stress" lotion. It is very soothing.

Some relaxing music might also be good. I like piano music to help me relax.

I can't think of anything pirate related that might help me relax, other than rum!

Over the river and through the woods...
Is she in college or high school? Actually, is she living at home or on her own? The bath things and tea are a great idea but she is still going to have to cram at times. How about including some granola bars or something healthy she can munch on when she has to stay up to study and needs energy. The best present I ever got when in college was a box full of food that I could make in the dorm. But, if she's still living at home that is probably covered. Quick energy food would help though.

If she can burn it where she lives, get some incense too. There are some very soothing smells...vanilla and lavender are some of my favorites to calm me down. It definitely helps when trying to fall asleep.

Healthy yet still comforting food of some sort would be good.

I found a massage place near her school that offers a 30 minute massage for $35. So I may see if Gary wants to go in with me and get her that! Along with a smaller gift basket. If not I will definitely be sending a starbucks card a long with it!
