Okay, guys, TCS has never let me down before when I've requested adoption vibes for a kitty, so here we go again.

This time my current foster kitty, Evangeline (better known as Evie) needs some major adoption vibes. Evie's a sweet little girl who will make someone a wonderful companion, but there are some factors that will make it a challenge to find her a home. First is her age. She's only 3-4 years old, which we know is still young for a cat, but a lot of adopters won't see it that way. Next is her appearance. I think Evie's beautiful and tell her so several times a day (at least), but most potential adopters are going to look at her and see just another plain brown tabby. Then there's Evie's issues with other cats. She was on her own for a while and had to compete for food. Neighborhood cats chased Evie and picked on her so she is very defensive around other felines. Evie is good with most people, but was mistreated and neglected for most of her life, so does have some trust issues.

That said, Evie really is a sweetheart with an adorable personality. It's just going to take someone with some patience and cat experience to give her the kind of home she longs for. Please send vibes that person comes along soon. Thanks.

Here's Evie's Petfinder listing for more info:

for Evie. Sounds a bit like my Casper... who I would rehome if I could, but he is 4 years old, a "plain brown tabby" and would be best as an "only." Three strikes. Sigh.....

Major positive vibes for Evie........

My Buddy has the same issues with other cats, or I would be very interested in her!

In my experience, brown tabbies are truly wonderful!
I was owned by one for 15 years!

She's a pretty girl and I'm sure that someone else will see that, too!

On another note: It's always painful to read some of these stories of abused and neglected kitties because I was orphaned at a young age myself, and there have been times in my life when I was utterly alone, too.

I'm so sorry for the times you've felt that way.
You've found a very caring group of people here.

Thanks for the vibes for Evie. She's such a sweet little cat with so much love to give.

Sending good vibes your way. I have a similar problem. Was trapping for TNR and trapped a month old tabby so I decided to tame her. Then I got sick and now she's not that young kitten anymore and 'just another tabby'. I have 4 dogs, so she thinks she's a dog and it appears she's hear to stay! My concern is she will probably outlive me and my hubby, so now I have to be sure she will have a place to go if that happens.

Here's those vibes!

sending major prayers and vibes that Evie is to soon be the blessing to a wonderful family
BTW, I refer to my "plain brown tabbies" as "little brown tigers" and people will tell me how beautiful they are!!! It's a marketing strategy that seems to work for me

C'mon TCS vibes
