Saying thank you to "LDG"

I am still navigating around this site, which I find quite difficult sometimes. Could be because I am a little "thick"?

LDG send me a couple of gifts and I never got a chance to thank her. I could send her a P.M. but haven't come across her name lately. (Didn't I come across a members list the other day?)

Anyway, thank you LDG for the welcome.

You can send a pm by just going into your pm box, on the left under private messages select "send new message", when it pops up, just type in LDG in the recipient field and you're all set to go.

I knew I'd seen a members list somewhere. Well, I never knew that about sending PM's. I'm slowly learning my way around here. Thanks so much.

And if you ever need to find a recent posts of her's, look no further than the stray and feral section.

Primula, thanks for the thanks. I didn't know anything about forums and stuff when I first joined either - it takes a while to get the hang of it.

Up in that very first box below "TheCatSite.com" and all the boxes with the links in them - over to the right where it says "Welcom, Primula" in bold letters - under that is stuff in blue, underlined, that says "Private Messages." When you click on that, it takes you to your inbox for the PMs. If someone sends you a private message (and you get a message when someone gives you a gift), you can open the message by clicking on it - and to reply to it, there is a little button down on the lower right of the message box that says - either "quote" or "reply" (sorry, don't remember which offhand). And then it's like posting in the forums, only you "send" the message and the only person who sees it is the person to whom you send the message.

Hope between all of the different input it helps you figure out private messaging!
