Sorry about this being late but my internet modem went down. It took me over an hour with a rep from my service provider to get me up and running. I had to call after I got home from work. So that accounts for the delay. So...... here is my question.

If you were having a birthday party, what kind of cake would you like to have served? If not cake, then what would you like?

I love chocolate cake with chocolate frosting! But if that isn't available, I like banana nut cake with cream cheese frosting. I also like strawberry cake or marble cake too. LOL I just like cake!

My favorite cake is carrot cake with cream cheese icing. If I can't have that then give me lemon pie.

No cake, instead a ripe fresh berry, peaches, pineapple, and pears assortment with organic yogurt for dipping. My perfect dessert.

Hmmm I just thought of something. I would like to get a nice boysenberry pie! DH doesn't like that kind of pie, so I wouldn't have to share! I love boysenberry pies!

Umm my birthday is on Friday and I got some cheesecake and some silk pie things. Single servings.
I didn't dig into them yet.. my friend on another forum also made me friendship bread so I have enough sweets.

Maybe an ice cream cake. I like cake, but there isn't a specific kind I like: I just like a cake that is very fresh, with fresh ingredients and made with a really really good recipe. I've had terrible chocolate cake before, even though I like chocolate cake...so it depends more on the way it's made than the kind I think.

A 3-layer white coconut cake with 7-minute coconut buttercream frosting and shreds of toasted coconut throughout. I love a good coconut cake!

DH always wants a good carrot cake with cream cheese and pecan frosting.

Home made German chocolate cake, with coconut pecan frosting. A close second would be a good home made carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Dang...my birthday isn't until May, and now you've got me hungry for cake!

Birthdays are cake. Chocolate cake with either chocolate or vanilla frosting, OR, vanilla cake with either chocolate or vanilla frosting. But, in any case, the frosting has to be sickening sweet.

How about that, but with a cream cheese frosting like you'd find on a carrot cake?
