I have been feeding Tessie for the last 3 months Natural Balance Ultra dry and I have noticed that her coat does not look as shiny or as soft as before she also has been shedding like crazy. I was feeding her Blue Buff Wilderness and her coat was beautiful (almost no shedding and a beautiful shine). My only thing is, I would love to put her back on the Wilderness but my vet wants her to have some grain in her diet (she had loose stool and grain has helped).
I feed her right now 1/4 dry and 3oz grain free wet a day. What if I switched to a wet food that had grain in it? How much grain is there actually in those wet foods.

Thanks!

Wet food often lacks the added fatty acids that are usually high in premium drys... You may want to mix a simple one meat one grain with the wilderness or add some salmon oil or fish oil to the wet food...

I am ONLY guessing but I am thinking maybe she is sensitive to one or more of the ingrediants in the NB

Thanks Sharky

I also thought maybe she was allergic to something in the NB. She eats the NB grain free wet fine, its just the dry.
I will go take a look tonight and see what I can find. I just have to be careful of the calories since she is suppose to be on a diet. I'm trying to keep her at 250 calories a day. Wilderness has only 200 calories per 1/2 cup which will make measuring so much easier.
