On our way back to Ohio this weekend, we stopped in Clinton, TN, to sleep for the night. In the morning, we spotted three small kittens that couldn't have been more than 7 or 8 weeks old in the area behind the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn that is right off the highway. These poor babies appeared to have been dumped as they let us get pretty close to them but when we tried to get within touching distance they ran off.
If there is anyone who does rescue in this area, they seem as if they would be easily trapped. We saw at least 3, two black and white ones and an orange and white one. They did not strike me as feral but they were very wary of us when we tried to get to close so I am hoping that someone may be able to get them.
