Kitten watch!

Well, we are once again on kitten watch. We brought home a new pregnant foster today, a beautiful torbie I named Macy. She has a belly, but looks like she still has a little while to go. She is very, very sweet to us, but has been telling my kitties off through the door. She has a beautiful coat, gorgeous markings and seems to be in decent health, so hopefully I got her out of the shelter in time and she won't develop the upper resp. I'll try to get some pics up of her tomorrow.

On another note, after 2 weeks of keeping a close eye on our other female foster, Surprise, we don't believe her to be pregnant after all.

We're STILL on kitten watch! Macy looks like she's about ready to explode by now. The babies are quite active in her belly and you can tell she's uncomfortable. For the past 48 hours she has been very restless and doing a lot of licking "down there" so I thought for sure we'd have kittens sometime on the weekend, but still nothing. I'm working from home today to keep an eye on her just in case. Hopefully there will be little ones soon!

And I gather Surprise had´nt none?? Are they pals Macy and Surprise? Surprise perhaps want to be aunt instead?

Surprise is NOT pregnant thank goodness! She and Macy are in 2 different rooms. Surprise is in our room with us and Macy has her own room. Neither one of them are too into other cats, but super, SUPER friendly with us.

As of this morning there are STILL no kittens for Macy. I worked from home Monday and Tuesday sure that they would be anytime. I actually came to work today, and you watch, she'll probably have them while I'm here.

She is SO huge guys, poor thing. It looks like the babies are going to break right out of her stomach at any time! She eats like there's no tomorrow too, but it's funny, she only inhales her food when I'm there there with her, like she wants me to watch her eat. She is so, so affectionate with me too, always just putting her head to mine. I really can't wait to meet her little ones!

I'm still waiting too! She's eating like a horse which is great, and the babies are SO active. I'm going to take some new pictures of her later so you all can see how huge she has gotten, poor thing. She's in great spirits though! HOPEFULLY it'll be sometime this weekend! I'm working from home again today though just in case.
