What does your cat do to make you laugh yourself silly?

On the west side of... of... somewhere.
I literally was JUST in the bathroom... minding my own (personal) business. JoJo followed me in and started sniffing at something near the door. Mind you, I'm not the best housekeeper around... I looked over at her as she lifted her head back up to look around.

A piece of tissue, like kleenex or something, about half an inch wide and two inches long, was stuck to her nose horizontally like a mustache. I started laughing so hard I began to cry. She's not normally the ham around here, her brother is.

So, what goofy things have your cats done lately that aren't the 'normal antics' of said cat?

I really needed that laugh. I've had a crazy week and today I've been recovering from it... So, anyone else? Share?

Cat-sitting for my friend's cat, Turtle, was really good medicine for me last week. Since Bella isn't here to keep her in line she entertained herself for hours with a used dryer sheet. When she was sure she had "killed" it, she stood with all four paws on this little square and jumped straight up in the air, did some kind of a double-axle- ice skater movement, landed, noticed her tail and tried to wrestle that to the ground, but it got away from her. Then she suddenly looked up at me and took off running through the apartment. I gave her a score of 9.9

Both Spring and Sweetpea have this ---- ern---way of dealing with their toy birds---they take them to the kitchen sink where there is a cup of water in the sink for the two of them to drink out of---they both will dip their 'prey' into said water like the toy bird is a teabag!

I always laugh my butt off when one of my cats (usually Ginger or Penny) startle themselves and jump up and backwards about 3 feet in the air really fast.

It's usually due to a seriously scary piece of paper they just did NOT expect to see there on the floor!

Love reading the other posts! JoJo and the tissue mustache reminds me of the times Maia has so diligently chased flies or other bugs, sniffing them out.....then when she looks up, the fly or bug is on her nose
!
Turtle, the dryer sheet performer
, priceless! I wasn't even there and I was
, a true performer at heart
......
Maia is constantly making me laugh. If I am sad, mad, in pain, super pissed off, crying, PMSing, she has the power to make me smile, no matter what.
I am always talking to her and after 4+ years of the English language, she has heard it all. If it doesn't benefit her ( wanna go outside, want some food) I am usually lucky to get the slight ear tilt. So today I decided to speak to her in French, that got her attention! Eyes wide and full attention, she was so curious about what I was saying

We have a decent amount of plastic cups hanging around the house. Not the disposable ones- but plastic ones. If you have kids you know what I mean, the ones the kids get at every single holiday party they have at school LOL.

I use them for scooping out cat food.

Well, HollyHeart found one and now it's her new toy. It's really funny when she carries it in her mouth (it looks like she's going to drink from it) all over the house.

Then yesterday, after she carried a cup out of the pantry- she found a plastic bag that had catnip in it. She took that out of the pantry and carried it out.

Then I had to go give her her "drugs"
She had catnip ALL over her.

This cat LOL. She's just so funny.

I hope she keeps up the "cuteness" after she turns a year in another month.

When they jump a few feet straight in the air over a movement or paper or something in their path.

Or when Nero sleeps like this, which he's currently doing now as well

Sometimes when Chester walks into a room cautiously he is moving so slowly and purposefully the slightest movement scares the crap out of him.
He will jump at least a foot off the ground!! He is just so cute, it cracks me up every time.

One of my Kitties, Dill walks around with a sink drain in his mouth, you know the silver thing that strains out any food or stuff so it doesn't go down the drain.

I'm always finding it someplace. I was laying on my bed watching television when he jumps up with it dangling out of his mouth. I laughed and laughed.
