Last night my boyfriend Jack stayed over at my place with me to keep an eye on me since I wasn't feeling well.
We watched a movie at home before we went to bed and I noticed that Kojak was being exra goofy: running around and chasing both girl kitties and even trying to chase both dogs. Once he settled down, Kojak sat in my lap during the entire movie, so I hardly think the feline was neglected!

After the movie, Jack walked the dogs and then we called it an early night. Around 6am we woke up to the sound of glass breaking and things crashing everywhere. Now keep in mind I took a pain pill before I went to bed because of my GI issues, so sometimes they give me weird dreams. I was half awake and thought I was still dreaming.
When Jack jumped out of bed though and shook me a bit I knew I wasn't dreaming anymore. He snuck into the living room to see what had happened. Considering how loud the crash was, we both thought that one of the glass end tables had been broken (thankfully that wasn't the case). I got up just in time to see Kojak's collar in the middle of the floor, broken glass crosses in my dining area, and half of my new Christmas ornaments (which had been on the table in the living room for a while) drug into the guest bedroom.
He even drug the bag with my Christmas wooden bird house into the guest room and that thing is as big as him! I had gone shopping several weeks ago to get things on sale and never dreamed his fluffy butt would get into it! Apparently Kojak decided to play demolition kitten last night! I had quite a few glass/metal crosses sitting on my table in the dining room that were waiting to be hung up in my apartment (I always do a cross wall in my place). The little rugrat knocked all of them into the floor and broke two of the glass ones (Jack thinks he can fix them). Kojak also felt the need to decorate early for Christmas as he took my shopping bags off of the table and scattered my new Christmas ornaments everywhere!
Once I tracked the little rascle down, I was able to scruff him and make sure he didn't have any glass on him; he was ok, but he KNEW he was in trouble lol.

Is it just me, or are the boy kitties more mischevious?!?!
After the week I've had, I defintiely needed a laugh- Kojak's guilty face was priceless!

What a naughty boy for doing that. I don't envy you your cleanup chore. Especially when your not feeling well. In my own experience I have to say that it is definitely the boys who are the most mischevious. Over the last years I kept a litter of 3 girls one boy they were pretty quiet.
Never any problems. Last year I also had to keep a litter of 4 boys that I had to bottle feed and kept them. These 4 boys, Dill, Chucky, Phil and Tommy are THE most worst kitties I ever had. They are into everything, I never had anything broken by any of my other cats can't say the same for for these guys, they are impossible. Its a good thing they're so cute. They won't even leave the little drain in my sink alone. Dill carries it everywhere.

Hope you feel better soon

Thankyou
Did you by chance name those kittens after the old"Rugrats" show?
That's too funny! In my opinion, the boys are definitely the more mischevious! Kojak's litter was 5 boys! When those bottle babies were old enough to roam around, they were into everything! My girl kitties are a little older, so even though their spunky, they're not into "demolotion" the way their brother is!
Kojak's antics aside, I could never stay mad at him long; he's such a love bug! He did give me quite the scare though- I thought for sure he'd have glass from those broken crosses all in his feet, but thankfully he didn't!

I really think what he was after were some of the long feathered bird ornaments that I had purchased for this comming Christmas. (I collect those, but I also make a lot of presents too. I start early since I do a lot of homemade gifts, hence all the Christmas stuff now!) Kojak had abducted one of the white bird ornaments with the long feathers and stashed it on the cat tree in the guest bedroom in addition to scattering several of the other ornaments scattered all around my place.
I guess he'll be getting a feather toy of some kind for Christmas!?!

Yes they do love those feathers, I have to make sure I always have a pack of feathers. And yes they were all named for the rug rats, my niece named them I think she wanted me to get a little girl kitty so I could name her Angelica.
