I can't understand why it says it's not easy getting volunteers. If I had the chance I wouldn't mind moving to the village.

I would volunteer there as well!!!
After a long hard day dealing with the rude public I just love coming home to my kids (mostly) and my furbabies. Sometimes the kids can be more trying than my customers but at bedtime..all is well

I wonder how much was spent on the very decorative houses (cats care more about function than looks - they're practical)? How much of that could have went to vet expenses?

Once again a cat has melted someone's heart!! The guy looks like he doesn't take any crap from people, but would do this for kitties!!! Very wonderful story. Thank you!!!
The houses could benefit the cause by drawing attention which could generate more donations.

I dunno he made it onto Yahoo news so Im sure there will be a lot of people coming out of the woodwork to volunteer or donate
