Morning folks!

I am volunteering at a golf tourney today watching for a hole in one. I get to sit at the hole allllllll day with drunken golfers trying to bribe me

It's going to be sunny though! So that's good!

Off to work in a bit, and then I leave for the golf course at about 10:30am.

Morning!

Thank goodness for the weekend....it seems like an awfully long week.

Tomorrow afternoon, my sister and I are taking our parents to visit my aunt in a nursing facility. They can't get around anymore and it pretty much takes two vehicles to haul all of their gear (wheelchairs, walkers, oxygen, etc.). So my sister will take our mom and I'll take our dad. It's my Dad's sister who is in the nursing home and I know he misses her....he hasn't seen her in quite a while now b/c she fell and broke her hip and he has a blood clot in his lung. They need to be together for awhile as they're the only siblings left now.

And then tomorrow night, we're going to dinner with some friends, followed by a trip to Lowe's. They need some floor paint and we need some nails and such for working in the basement. I love going to Lowe's.....actually, my sister and I can spend hours there.

I'm serious, unfortunately.

Other than that, it's housework and laundry. Still haven't closed the pool and that has to be done this weekend. We need to start cutting flowers and plants down for the winter, too. A lot of outside chores are on our list.

TGIF!

It's a rainy, messy day today but I don't care because the weekend is supposed to be nice.

I'm in a GREAT mood today. Finally my one eyed foster, Lucy, will be going to her forever home this afternoon.

Tomorrow, her 2 remaining kittens, Charlie & Schroeder, will be going home with my aunt. LOVE it!

Tonight I'm going out to dinner at a great local place for Chicken Pita Nachos (amazing!) with a bunch of girlfriends. There's about 12-14 of us getting together. We do this occasionally and have a blast! Looking forward to a frozen alcoholic beverage or 2 as well.

A few of us might go dancing afterwards, not sure yet though.

Tomorrow night is a Sea Dogs hockey game and then Sunday should be a day to relax! Have a greay day/weekend all!
