This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...
This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....
I have two cats a 1yr old and a 5mo old and they both love this food, the duck seems to be the kind they love most.
Zelda my oldest had problems keeping the wildeness food down for a few...
purchased this from air force exchange for use while traveling in our class a RV. its adjustable for size with a spring loaded top also by leaving out sections. the only problem with it is the...
I saw that on the news this morning. Definitely some inner conflict crying out. She needs a loving cat or three to occupy her mind, and restore some responsibility. I read somewhere that individuals with pets are less likely to commit suicide than those without. I can't remember where I saw that or any statistics, but it makes sense.
Yeah but what's to stop her from throwing acid at the cat? I adopted out two kittens years ago to a woman with mental issues. I knew full well that this woman had these issues, but I have also had to keep a close eye of both Scuba and Sonic and provide food from time to time when Irene can't get past her depression and get out of bed. (Her son was killed in Iraq and then she tried to kill herself as well). It's a fine line to walk- because the brain can misfire in a nanosecond and all good intentions can fly out the window.
Possibly histrionic personality disorder. My understanding is that it's one that isn't very easy to treat, the treatment sessions themselves feed the person's need for attention. Just like narcissistic personality disorder isn't really that treatable because it's ego-syntonic, too.
I remember seeing the initial coverage of this on a tv at the tag agency earlier this month. With no sounds and just watching her movements I thought to myself that she sure seemed to be enjoying all of the attention she was getting. Most people who had just had a traumatic injury to their face, and especially women, would rather not be on camera in that state. (I'm not vain, but I sure as heck wouldn't)
Wow....she definitely needs some psychiatric help if she decided to do this for attention.
I assume she is receiving that attention now.
This is just such an awful thing to do! It breaks my heart thinking of the many girls this happens to in India and Pakistan every year, and I can't comprehend doing this to oneself.
What is that illness that causes mothers to harm their children so they can get attention from people in the medical field? Munchausen? Something like that? I think this could be a form of that--only she did it to herself.

That's what I thought, but I googled it and it didn't seem to fit, they didn't say that much about hurting themselves. It's Munchausen Syndrome when a person does it to themself, Munchausen by Proxy when mothers do it to their children.
That is crazy. I've been burned by nitric, sulfuric, and hydrochloric acid before at work (small spatters here and there while dispensing), and that begins to burn bad, I cannot imagine throwing/getting something of that strength covering my face.
She definitely needs to be receiving mental help for doing that over wanting some attention and sympathy ... I am sure she's probably getting it now certainly.
