The sky is very angry right now!

There has been non stop thunder for atleast 5 minutes! I haven't experienced so much anger from the sky for a long time, non stop thunder and constant flashes of lightening....... Maia and I both are on edge, me more then her!

Oh no, I hate thunder.Some people love it though, cannot think why. x

We have had three tornado warnings in the past hour in my area. I was freaking out! My lovely husband was outside watching the storms and I was inside with scared kitties, loud sirens and a screaming child. Oh Fun!!
Luckily, nothing came of it in my area at least. We drove to petsmart earlier, and the sirens went off when we were halfway there...the radio said it was not near us so we just wanted to hurry. We got to the store, and the sirens kept going off like crazy....the store tried to keep everyone there! We said no, we had to get back to our kitties (i am terrified that there will be a tornado and we will lose kitties)
We hurried home, and I stared at the tv watching radar, and looking out the window. I know they say to go to the basement but we have a horrible/scary basement and no radios...and I need to have constant radar updates or I get super anxious. (i hear tornado sirens and want to curl into a blanket and cry, i am way too scared of them, idk why though, just am)

got really bad here about 20 minutes ago and seems to be breaking now...tho very dark clouds still there suns trying to come through. I love the thunder and the dark it brings. relaxes me

Oooh send it here! I LOVE thunder [and lightning!]

I work in a bank and we lost power twice today. The first time for well over an hour, the last one for just a few minutes.

I love thunder, lightning and rain. Makes me go to sleep .

I'm another one who LOVES a good thunder, lightning/rain storm. For those who don't however, take care and stay safe!

I love to listen to thunder and to watch lightning flash across the sky.

That being said, we watched a bit of the Weather Channel last night....I hope you're OK, Cheylink. The pictures we saw of areas in Brooklyn and other areas were nasty. I'd have been more than a little on edge with all that going on.

A lot of people in NJ got hit pretty bad, they even prolonged the News broadcast to show what some were hit with. Trees down, cars smashed by them and I believe there was one fatality.

My area only got very dark with heavy winds and rain and as fast as it came, it was over. I feel bad for people who lost their power and I know NYC got hit pretty bad also in some areas. Mother Nature is mad about something.

I saw NYC on the morning news....thunder and lightening were the least of the problems there!!!

My goodness, I hope you all came through the possible tornados all right!

Last night we just had rain. Lots of loud rain. It kept waking me up.

It could have been worse. The news showed hurricane Karl ripping over the Yucatan Peninsular last night. I hope Coolcat is OK today.

I like rain, not lighting nor thunder though. Jazzy hates all lightning, thunder and rain. Ginga is simply fascinated by it As some people may know, we had terrible rain and such here in Western Australia in March. I think that made Jazzy even more scared of rain. It made me probably a little more paranoid of the rain, every time it rains, I remember the storm. Light rain is nice, it helps me sleep but heavy rain, I just hate that.
