It's a rainy day today, but that's okay because it is supposed to be sunny tomorrow and I am volunteering at a golf tourney all day so thats good.

Off to work in a bit. I have an appointment at 3:30 though so leaving at 3 today.

Tonight might play tennis with DH.

Good morning

Just got to work this morning. My foot is killing me from aerial silks play time with my friend yesterday. The rest of me doesn't feel so hot either after three hours of exercise on silks, hoop, and pole!

Feels like I slept wrong in every possible way

Hoping to get out of here by 2 or 3pm today, will be a nice change back to how things used to be before I went on the road trip! Got some school work to get on when I get home, definitely preparing ahead of time for my next marketing test, since the first one didn't go so well

Supposed to be 89ºF and sunny today, a nice change from 95º+ with horrible heat indexes!!

Morning!

Another day of.....not much. And I'm happy for that. Sunny and coolish right now, but we'll warm up into the mid-70s or so.

DH bowls early tonight, plus he has a union meeting right after work, so it's going to be a bit busy getting dinner on the table. Grilled pork chops sound pretty good right now. With couscous and sauteed green beans.

Morning! I haven't been posting b/c of my new hd with Windows 7 makes the font hard to read on most sites. I have yet to figure out how to fix it. DH has a wide screen so the settings are different. FB is driving me nuts b/c letters like il together give a red hue. Dh thinks I am crazy but my head is hurting from it.

It's been a wild month. Mom is undergoing several tests. Back in July she had a speech problem and the doctor wants to rule out mini stroke. It apparently happened during her surprise party I threw last month too. She has narrowing of the carotid arteries on both sides of her neck, her one breasts didn't look good in the mammogram but it's the one with a cyst so it might be scar tissue. She also has spots on her lungs that they think is from bronchitis. She has to see a neurologist next week. She had to wait almost 3 weeks for approval from her insurance for a head scan. In the meantime she had a sever asthma attack and is back on steroids and an inhaler.

My Step MIL has cancer a 3rd time in the lymph nodes of her neck. She hasn't been well for 3 years and it's one thing after another. She went on vacation for a month to the Keys and her lungs filled with fluid. After several tests due to her history they found the cancer. She has spots on her liver but the doctor is concentrating on her lymph nodes for now.

My BIL proposed to his long time g/f last week. It's about time but now we have to listen to her thunder steal from others. She made the announcement days later on FB the night before DH's baby cousin's christening. Oh the drama.

I have been shopping at Rite Aid all week. I am completely addicted and can not stop. I am going nuts not shopping right now.

The weather is finally cool and I love having the A/C off.

Kitties are doing well. Molly's asthma is also acting up. I am on the verge of ordering $100 in weed killer to destroy the junk in someone's yard. I can't deal with my family getting sick b/c of the weeds. (j/k I wouldn't do it, just what is in our yard b/c pollination).

Hi all! Not much to report here. I've been busy all day working on my reports and bills for work. Almost done though and then I can relax. Chores and gym tonight. Nothing exciting!

Good afternoon. Busy morning, BF went into work late because the chimney people were here to fix some cracks in the firebox that happened since they did a whole big repair job a month or so ago. I guess it's better now.

I got a few things from the grocery store and then made a veggie burger with red cabbage (I like the crunch!), tomato, onion, and fresh mozzarella. Yum!

Did some job searching and found what might be a really good one in downtown LB, I think I will apply for it. I am past due to get back to work now. I sharpened up my resume and now have to work on my cover letter.

I need to do at least an hour of homework, tests in both my classes are coming up next week, 1 on Monday and 1 on Friday. Eek!

Tonight we are skipping the Hopheads meetup and going with our friend (also a Hophead)/now neighbor/housesitter/catsitter instead to Rock Bottom downtown for their Rocktoberfest beer and checking out the new place that opened last week that I didn't go to because I was sick. BF is still adjusting back to West Coast time from UK time, so we probably won't be out too late. That is fine by me. I must be getting old, I don't like to be out late anymore!

Two doctors appointments today for me. Oh and its raining AND sunny all at the same time somehow. Its only raining in the front of my house not the back, but the sun is shining all around. I think I am going to hide in the basement this weather is weird!
