Today is gonna be the BESTEST day everrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! After a week and one day of waiting and not knowing what was going on I got word last night that tonight is officially Berthas retirement date! Ive got one more trip today to make with her and it makes me kinda sad BUT she wont be going far just to the back yard where we will have 3 years of slowly working on her and putting her back to rights. She will be the Ignition Interlock car for when BF gets his license back. Hank my darling Explorer will be our everyday (MY) car.....Im so pumped for this evening when he officially becomes mine!! Ive been singing "Im so excited" song (you know the one Jesse sings on Saved By the Bell) since 4 this morning!!!!

Happy Birthday, Trout!!

Nothing much going on around here. One of my GFs and I are preparing to take a filters class for graphics....we both use Paint Shop Pro 7 as well as X; I haven't decided which one I'm going to use for the class. That will be fun. We've been putting it off b/c of the summer; she lives in Texas and her computer room is very warm. Our computer room is usually quite cool b/c of running the AC, so we agreed to wait a while. We think we're ready now.

It's pretty much self-study, too, so that will be fun. I'm always excited to learn something new with filters.

DH said he's hungry for sweet & sour chicken, so that's on our menu for tonight. I've not made it before, so I get to try something new! Yay!

Spent last night picking, seeding, and slicing peppers....it seems that all of our pepper plants produced at the same time and everything was ready again. Picked, snapped, and blanched some green beans for the freezer, too. It all took awhile, but I'll appreciate those peppers and beans this winter. We have a lot of green tomatoes, but they're not ripening well. We're in our sixth month of below-normal rain and everything is really suffering. Our zucchini plants had started to come back after we finally did get some rain, but they're not doing well again. Still, we did manage to get enough food from the garden to pay for our plants and for the fencing around it. DH is willing to do it again next year.

Happy birthday to Trout!!

Well I am typing from a Hilton Garden Inn in Southern Wisconsin waiting for Old World Wisconsin to open at 10 am.
Yesterday was out 25th anniversary and we drove to a greenhouse/garden place we had been meaning to go to for years and then to Cedarburg,WI. Our anniversary dinner was at Chili's!! (we were still full from lunch!)

This is the 1st time we've left all 4 cats-Bender can be a bit of a thug so hopefully he will behave!

Thank GOODNESS today is payday, even though most of it is now gone after paying bills.

We have to get groceries right after work, then we'll head to the gym before coming home to watch Survivor & the newest episode of Sons Of Anarchy.

Happy Birthday Trout, and Happy Anniversary Gail!

Just a regualr Wednesday for me I guess. Still catching up on laundry and chores and I MUST do homework because I slacked yesterday. No good! BF came back from England last night, it was nice to have him home again. He was so tired, I understand because I was just as tired a week ago when I got back. "I was up since last night!" But he woke up early this morning so went into work early. So he will probably be crashed out by the time I get home from school tonight. Oh well, he should be back to normal by the weekend.

I am about to leave to go do my site inspection. I also have to mail some things and return a jar of pickles to Trader Joes. They're bad! I never had a bad jar of pickles before, but these are gross and rubbery. Not like they usually are. I never return food, but a whole jar of bad pickles?? Yeah, I have to make this right. I love me some Trader Joes pickles. So after all that running around I will do schoolwork. I promise! Then school tonight.
