update on Ted's mom.

As most of you know Ted's mom was put in a nursing home about 25 minutes away,it is not far enough away.She is still able to call us and be nasty,well we have found a new nursung home 1 1/2 hour away,she is moving Tuesday,and she will not be able to call us!We have made it toatly clear to the staff,she is not to call us, only the staff will.And Ted will not be going up there every Sunday and be put down the whole time he is there.This may sound like he dosn't love his mom,he does,but we cannot take her nasty way's anymore.It is time we got on with our own lives.

Sometimes that is the only way you can deal with some people. I am glad that the two of you will be free from her meanspiritedness.

Has she been saying nasty stuff to you and Ted Sherral?, I'm sorry honey!

I am sorry that you have to deal with that kind of bitterness and telling the staff not to call you will make it easier on you both. I know how you feel, I have a bitter mother in law.

It does not sound mean. You have been more than patient with her. No one should have to take that kind of abuse, and it is no wonder you have had it with her. I hope you can rest easier since she cannot call you.

Sometimes you have to put your foot down and take care of yourselves and your relationship. Sounds like you did the right thing.

Thanks everyone,but bad new's We can't move her today,The town we are moving her had a huge bad storm and the whole town is without power,it won't be intill Friday when they think the power will be back on ,so we are moving her then.only 3 more day;s.
