As some of you already know, I trapped a young, blue-eyed beauty in my feral colony (she's anything but feral) on Sat. She was spayed, tested, etc...and is now in the care of the rescue that helps me. I had a little contact with her on Sat. and again on Sun. when I went to pick up my trap. She's the sweetest little thing!
Anyway, I'm swamped at work and busy for the next couple of days, so probably won't be able to get back to rescue to visit her until Thurs. or Fri. The waiting is killing me. I know she (not sure about her name yet) is in good hands, but this is the first time I've trapped/rescued a cat that I haven't fostered, so I can't wait to see her again and get to know her a little better.

Oh boy the waiting must be terrible! I remember when I trapped Jennie. She was in the trap overnight, then straight to the vet the next morning. Even though we hadn't even properly met yet, I was wild with anxiety and wanting to be with her that whole day.

Have fun with that pretty little girl!

When I started going down to the vet's office to visit with Mollipop, it took everything I had NOT to go there every night. I wanted to see her so badly. But I didn't want to be a pain to the office staff, so it was hard.

You and that little baby are going to have so much fun together!

Well, I'm probably going to give in and either visit her today or tomorrow after work. I did get an update on her from the director of the rescue this morning. She's doing fine and demanding a lot of attention.

The volunteers have named her Antoinette (sorry Katie!). She'll get her distemper booster next week, then go up for adoption.
