Went to the shelter this morning as foster Herbie went to his forever home. I am SO happy for him!

Of course I brought home some new fosters.

1) Ray Charles - an adult brown tabby bobtailed male. He has huge green eyes but unfortunately he appears to be blind. It doesn't hold him back any though!

2) Leo - a neutered adult male medium haired orange tabby who was flea infested so he's lost a lot of fur.
He is also incredibly skinny. Named Leo because he has a mane.

3) Orson - another orange tabby male but short haired and ALSO skinny and skraggly looking. He just needs some TLC. He looks like my Elliott, nose freckles and all.

They're all so sweet and loving... I KNOW they will thrive with the proper love and care!

On another note I mentioned that fosters Waldo & Rio were going to Fredericton for a PetSmart adoptathon. I was just informed that Waldo was adopted!
Rio is still waiting but they expect him to go soon.

Wow, Kailie, I am always amazed by how much you do for both your kitties and cats in need. I've fostered in the past and, one day, would love to do so again.

I'm so thrilled that Waldo has been adopted! He is such a cutie-pie and I have no doubt he'll bring his new owners tons of love and laughs. And, Rio, he's precious. There's no reason for him to still be waiting for his forever home. Hopefully, though, someone will fall in love with him soon. If not, I may just have to go to Canada to adopt him myself! And, Herbie -- how wonderful that he's gone to his new home. I'm always in awe of just how many cats you are able to foster and then find homes for. You're an angel to kitties everywhere...

Ray Charles, Orson, and Leo are so lucky that you stopped in the shelter and brought them home today. With the proper love and care, there's no doubt in my mind that they'll be ready for their new, forever homes in no time! I suppose I'll have to wait to see pictures of these new boys, but they all sound precious (albeit a bit heartbreaking). But, they're in good hands now and will be given the second chance at life and love that they deserve! Hopefully, just as those before them, someone will see them, fall in love, and know that they are the right addition to their life and home. And, in the meantime, I know you and Dana will give them all the love (and more!) that they need...

Thank you for all you do, Kailie. I shudder to think how many cats may not have had a second chance had you not crossed their path. Your heart is huge and you inspire me to be the same way
.

Awww, thank you ladies.
I promise to post pics of the newbies soon, but I want them to be settled in a bit, and we'll wait until they're a little less pathetic looking. I wouldn't want them to be embarrassed or anything.
