I have mentioned in the past that my mother has Alzheimer's Disease. While i am 600 miles away, there isn't a lot I can do to help them, but I can raise awareness and a little money for research.
I don't know if this is okay with the Mods, I hope it is. It's a legit cause and I have a small team walking in the local event.
I know times are tough and money is tight, but I also know most of you aren't in my area, so I can't exactly ask you to come join my team. The second best thing is donation. Even $5 helps.
I'm not begging, I will never personally see this money, but if anyone wishes to donate to my team, I'll provide the link.
