I just gave Peaches her 2nd bath since I've had her and she did GREAT! No deep throated cries, no biting and no sudden attempts at escaping!

I gave her one bath a few weeks after I got her and it was a real problem with all of the above. I had been dreading giving her another but finally decided it was time. So I guess this means she trusts me now?? I'm so happy!!!

I took pictures of her while she was all wet so I'll share them with you when I get them. I don't have a digital camera so I'll have to use the film and then develop it. I think they look so funny when they're all wet though!

Right now she has just broken free from being wrapped tightly in towels and is grooming herself! Silly kitty, doesn't know I just did it for her!(For today anyway.

Hey that is great!!! Now all you need is a dryer to blow dry your kitty. When the weather turnd cold your kitty can get sick from being left damp from a bath. I am short on funds alot so I get an inexpencive shop vac the I could use as a blower. There is no heat so you cannot burn the kitty. Just hold the kitty with one hand and put the hose against the skin. This will dry your baby in no time. This is all I use this shop vac for so as not to blow dirt into the just cleaned fur!

What did you use on her. Is there a special shampoo or just water?, how warm is the water? Am I asking too many questions?
can't wait to see pic's though!

I used Hartz brand "Infusions" With anti hairball beads. It's a "Skin and Coat Shampoo for Cats and Kittens." I believe I only paid $3.XX for an 18 oz bottle.

Teresa, I have a blow dryer that has a cool setting but she's scared to death of it. Today I just put her in my room where there's no air conditioning going and it's about 81 degrees. Do they seem to tolerate the shop vac better?

Cool! Some cats really dont mind water, its strange. I dont think Zoey minds either but I will not attempt to ever give her a bath

That is great news!! My boys would kill me if I tried to bath them, LOL! My friend Kerry's Maine coon, Boo let's her bathe him in the shower while she hold him… It's hilarious…he looks like a little monkey with his paws wrapped around her neck - he really doesn't mind! lol!!
