'Hugs and Kisses'

Thread Starter
Ginga likes to climb, she climbs everything but us. At least I think so... When she gets very happy, she leans up to us, over my shoulder and then licks me. I call this, hugs and kisses. She also likes to bit me on the chin or neck when she's happy, not hard, just a little nip. Are those love-bites? Why would she 'hug and kiss' me, is it simply affection or she wants to play or what? I'd like some help, I'm not desperate for any but some would be great ;]

Yep, those are signs of affection. Da Magpie will rear up from my lap, put her front paws on my shoulders and lick my face, often ending with holding the tip of my nose in her mouth. Both she and Da Lip will gently gnaw on fingers and wash every inch of skin they can reach.
